I've been asked about Kirstie's appearance on Oprah....

It's all so
Pathetic,
Both...

Far too
Power-filled
Beautiful
Talented
Success-filled
To be
Talking about
Such bullshit
For soooooo
Long, enough...

They need
To skype me
In, let The
Queen know
Oh mighty
Consumer you,

It's time
Freshen it
Up a bit,
Something
Real connected
To this
weight "issue"
It's time, it's
All getting
So stale
And ridiculous...

I had to turn the show off. For one, I couldn't handle Kirstie's hair-flicking routine (she needs a new hair stylist) and secondly.....one word:

Kirstie was more than pathetic. It was painful to watch. She said at one point that she "cracked the code for wieghtloss", While sitting there over 200 pounds?? Anyone can lose wieght those that keep it off have cracked the code.

I'm trying to follow SP from France (the one in Europe) and wonder if a little more "context" is possible. For starters, who is Kirstie and what did she say to Oprah?

Oprah and her audience of lemmings couldn't handle you for 5 seconds Susan. they are all to dumb, and that is the truth! it's actually quite sad.

I disagree that Oprah's audience or any audience "couldn't handle Susan for 5 seconds." No need to underestimate the intense need and desire for people EVERYWHERE to hear some truth about wellness (which includes weight loss).

People all over North America need to hear the truth spoken from Susan. And that, PJ, includes Oprah's audience. smile

I wouldn't call Kirstie "pathetic" (and I don't think Susan was either) but what is pathetic is the constant struggle to try to figure out how to eat properly(while being bombarded with crap from the media)& how to love ourselves & put ourselves 1st

So true...you must remember her desparation, her pain, her tired body, the depression, the failure..you cant judge someone that doesnt know any better, you can just try to show them what worked for you. Live strong and by example.

I don't watch Oprah, but must now try to see if there is a clip on YouTube. Sounds interesting...in a perverted sort of way.

It's so refreshing to hear you write the truth in simple text and straight to the point. Bravo, Susan!

*CHEERS* to you!
