Mmmmmmm......late night snack.
I just had a good one too: cup of fluffy flavorful warm brown rice in a bowl, topped with a chopped tomato, and chopped english cucumber, and a touch of salt. Warm, fluffy, full of beautiful colors, late night snack. |

I love how you talk, Susan. So dramatic, yet without any pretension. Keep up the good work - I subscribed to you on my RSS.

Yum...sounds wonderful! It has reminded me of one of my favourite desserts..."Cold Oranges and Hot Sultanas". You need:
1 ripe large organic orange per person. Freeze the oranges. 1 dessertspoon organic sultanas/raisins/cranberries p.person |

|
1/4 cup of fresh organic orange juice per person, plus same of water.
1 teaspoon of honey or maple syrup or agave syrup per person. Sprinkling of cinnamon per person. |

Method:
Remove oranges from freezer about 15-20 mins before serving dessert. Using a sharp knife and wearing oven gloves to protect hands, slice the orange into beautiful icy slices. Trim away the peel and pith with scissors. |

Arrange slices on pretty plate.
Meanwhile, simmer the sultanas, juice, water, syrup, and cinnamon together, until the mixture is wonderfully glazed and syrupy. Pour this mixture over the orange slices and serve, perhaps with an elegant "dollop" |

The universe is smiling! My intention this year is to continue my six month old yoga practice and eat more clean fresh fruits/vegetables and nuts and voila, I find this wonderful addition to help me on my way. Thanks for the gift Susan!
