More and more and more
I made these for my kids
And
Three days ago....
Baked apples
Organic apples
Cut in half
Placed face down
In a baking dish
In a fraction of an inch of:
Water
Maple syrup
Put em in the oven and bake, at 350 for however long you like how mushy they are...
The other night:
Baked pears....
Organic pears
Cut in half
Cooked the say way
When soft, hot and sexy
Drizzle some cold soy cream
And maple syrup all over them...
Babies adore
Real food
Fruits are simple
To cook
Soft to digest
And
Baby's love them....
Oh, homemade apple sauce
It makes me crazy when I see people buying apple sauce in those tiny plastic cups...
It takes five minutes to make home made organic apple sauce...
In a pressure cooker:
Cut organic apples up in big chunks...
I do tons because we eat tons
Cover with water
An inch or two over top of apples
Lock on lid
Bring to pressure
Reduce to medium high
For
six, seven minutes, the most
And
Bring pressure down
Open lid
Drain water
Add
Maple syrup
Or thick brown sugar...a bit
And
Mash the hell out of them...
Applesauce...
Homemade
l0 minutes, max
Organic
And, the house smells sweeter than sweet...
